My Approach to Wedding Films

I have a passion for telling stories that are intimate and honest. The small fleeting moments throughout the day, the vulnerability as you share your heart during the ceremony, the emotional toasts at the end of a speech, and so much more all go into creatively constructing a bespoke highlight film that serves as an heirloom film for grandkids to see when they want to know the love story of grandpa and grandma.

 FAQs

  • You can pay online through the client portal using PayPal or all major cards. 50% is required to save the date with the final balance due 1 month before the wedding date.

  • Although I work with you to pick the songs/overall mood of the highlight video, I still offer up to 2 revisions.

  • depending on how packed the schedule is most full day edits get finished in 1-2 weeks and highlight videos usually take anywhere from 1 month with good collaboration to 90 days max.

  • Cinema cameras are dedicated to shooting video and do not take pictures. Most of them do not have auto focus and need multiple attachments for cinematographers to take full advantage of their skillset.

    cinema cameras generally have better dynamic range (can capture more of the light spectrum) and have much more capabilities when capturing color as well.

    The image that comes out of the camera is super flat so that a colorist may pick and choose exactly what colors/tones they want to bring out of the image during the color grading process.

  • Don’t worry we’ve got you covered! After shooting so many weddings, we know how to work in every lighting scenario. We’ll put you in the most flattering light and shoot from the best angles. Most of our shooting is candid shooting but when we set up scenes we guide you through posing and make sure you look confident and comfortable. Our goal is to show you looking happy and having fun!
